Angela Rae Ramey, 50, of West Portsmouth, passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2023. Born on May 15th, 1972, to Danny (Vicky) Adkins and the late Sandra Nelson Kilcoyne.

She will forever be remembered for her kind heart she was such a sweet soul. She could make a friend anywhere and made you feel so welcomed. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Kilcoyne. Her maternal grandparents Hubert and Judy Nelson and her paternal grandparents Raymond and Garnett Adkins.

She is survived by two sisters, Melissa Dunn (Henry Riley) and Sylvia (James) Howard. Three nieces Ashley Dunn and Julia Adkins, both of Marion, Ohio, and Courtney Howard of Louisa, Kentucky. One nephew, Tyler Howard of Greenup, Kentucky, five great nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Brayley, Bentley, Brycen, and Phoenix, and two fur babies, Herman, Yates, and baby Susan. Two aunts, Patricia Nelson of Oklahoma and Susan Pope of firebrick, Kentucky, one uncle, Thomas Nelson, and a slew of cousins. Many adopted nieces and nephews she’s accumulated over the years, thanks to Ash and Tink.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, with Devon VanBibber, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. till the service hour at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
