Woman Screams For Help at Wendy’s

A worried Wendy’s employee reported a bizarre incident just after 1 am at the Wendy’s on the Scioto Trail.

She said a woman banged on the drive-thru window of the restaurant and asked someone to call 911, before a man put her in a black truck and headed north on the Scioto Trail.

Officers alerted the Ohio State Patrol to the incident.

The caller explained that there was also a woman in the truck with them who was attempting to get the woman to calm down. The woman got out of the moving truck, and the driver slowed down to avoid hitting her. At that point, the other woman in the truck was heard saying, “I love you, let’s go home.”

Police noted the incident but did not believe there was evidence of a crime.
