Bloody Naked Man Spotted at Shawnee Lodge

Just after 10 pm, witnesses at Shawnee State Park reported seeing the last thing you to see on your wilderness vacation, a bloody naked guy covered in cuts running around the lodge.

When deputies responded to the scene, the guy said he was there to take a shower. Officers requested that he leave, and he complied.

Strange Behavior Near Greenup Dam

At 3:26 am, a worried citizen reported some bizarre behavior near the Greenup Hydroelectric plant. The caller said he was at the fishing dock when a man repeatedly asked him if law enforcement were ever out that way.

The strange man kept going back and forth between the dock and the woods and was also spotted asking visitors for rides.

Eventually, a vehicle showed up, and the driver got out and went into the woods with the man. The concerned citizen told the man he’d call law enforcement and reported that the man got nervous and walked off in the direction of Coal Grove.

A deputy searched the area but did not spot the man anywhere.

Elderly Woman Rescued From Road

Just after 7 am, a caller reported an elderly woman wearing a nightgown standing in the middle of Carey’s Run-Pond Creek Road.

A few minutes later, a caller reported a woman had arrived and given the elderly lady a ride to a nearby home. When deputies arrived at the home, they learned from the woman’s daughter that she lives with dementia and sometimes wanders away.
