Caller Reports 30 Chickens & 16 Dogs in Home

Officers investigated an unusual animal complaint just after 11:30 am. A caller said that there were 30 chickens and 16 dogs inside a home and that the odor was horrible.

The caller said the resident was selling eggs out of the home and that the animals cried all night.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the chickens were kept in a basement, and the coop was clean with no strong odor. All of the dogs were properly licensed.
