1 Officers Investigate Death Report on US 52
Police responded to a very unusual call just before 11 am. A woman contacted them and told them that she believed her husband might have died in his sleep.
When dispatch asked her to check to see if he was breathing, she hung up the phone. Dispatch attempted to call her back, but she didn’t answer. The woman finally called back but refused a request that she go upstairs to check on her husband. She wanted the SCSO to dispatch an ambulance to check.
When a deputy arrived at the home on US 52, they discovered that the man was alive and well and simply sleeping.
2 Caller Reports Dead Body on Carey’s Run-Pond Creek Road
Just after 4 pm, a caller reported he discovered a possible dead body on the kitchen floor of a home on Carey’s Run-Pond Creek Road.
Dispatch sent EMS personnel and deputies to the scene. The man called back a few minutes later to say he had administered Narcan and the victim was alive.
An ambulance transported her to SOMC.
