Child Murder Suspect Due in Court Thursday
The man charged in the shooting death of a Portsmouth teenager is due in court Thursday morning for a preliminary hearing.
Antonio Blake Milar, a 23-year-old parolee, who lists his address as homeless, will appear in Judge Stephen Mowery’s Courtroom at 9:30 am on Thursday.
Milar is charged in connection with the shooting of Josh Reed, 17, last Wednesday on Franklin Avenue.
Despite being on parole following a conviction for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in 2019, Milar has violated parole twice since his release.
On top of that, records indicate that he was released from jail two weeks before the fatal shooting following his arrest on a probation department warrant.
