Child Says Man Pulled Gun on Kinneys Lane

Officers responded to KInneys lane after a juvenile reported a Mercedes pulled up with several men inside and one of them pulled a gun out. 

The kid ran down an alley and hid behind someone’s home to wait for police. Officers spoke to the juvenile and took the child home to its mother. 

The family did not want to file a report, but police advised them to call if anything else happened.

Child Calls For Help After Being Left Home Alone

A woman contacted officers at 5:30 pm to report her stepchild had called her saying it had been left home alone for three hours and was afraid. 

The stepmom was out of town picking up her other children from daycare and said that she had her husband did not want to go to the child’s mother’s house to pick him up on a non-custodial day.  She said she, her husband, and the child had tried to make contact with his other parent without success. 

An officer was unable to contact anyone at the home, but the woman said she did eventually receive a text from someone saying they weren’t aware anyone was home at the house.

Minford Man Claims Dad Broke His Arm

Deputies and medics responded to a Minford home after an adult male claimed his father hit him with a stick and broke his arm. 

However, medics said they saw no sign of injuries and said the man did not need to go to the hospital. Officers took information for a report.
