Dad Assaulted By Son
A dad contacted police at 5:30 am to report his adult son had assaulted him and was trashing the house. He said the son had been kicked out of Wayne Hills and had been staying with him temporarily.
He told officers his son and a female companion had taken off walking down Pleasant Avenue. An officer caught up with the couple and took the man into custody.
Deputies requested PPD’s help in getting the woman home to a Sciotoville address, but PPD said they normally didn’t do that.
A deputy dropped the woman off. The man was booked into the Scioto County Jail.
Family Falls Apart on Charles Street
A Charles Street mom contacted police at 7:30 pm to report things were out of control at a residence.
She said one son was shooting up in the bathroom and that the other son had just assaulted his daughter.
Officers also learned that a woman with open warrants was inside the home. When they arrived on the scene, the woman’s father allowed them inside, and they took her into custody for an open warrant for probation violation.
