A mystery bull caused quite a stir in Sciotodale on Wednesday. Just before noon, a Shela Blvd. woman contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report her neighbor’s bull on her property. She said she first spotted the animal the previous day, but now he appeared to be injured.
A deputy picked up the daughter of the alleged bull owner and took her to the woman’s house. She took a photo of the bull to show to her father in an attempt to determine if it was indeed his bull. He could not tell from the photo.
The woman with the bull on her land called back to say the bull was now on its side in some water and might be dead.
There was some discussion of using a tractor to get the bull out of the water, but no one was sure if that would work.
A deputy returned to the woman’s home to pursue the matter, but the alleged bull owner’s son called and said that he might be able to come over to determine if the bull was dead or alive and then figure out how to remove it.
