Dog Stabbed in Domestic Incident

Just after 7 am, police responded to a report of a man waving a gun around and beating a woman on Robinson Avenue.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered an injured dog. A woman who lived in the home said the argument was all verbal, and there was no gun involved. She said that while she was arguing with her boyfriend, the dog jumped on the man, and he stabbed the dog in the neck before leaving the home.

The woman said she would take the dog to an animal hospital for treatment.

Twenty minutes later, she called the police to report that the man had returned to the home. However, he left before police arrived.

About an hour after that, officers responded to a call that the man had once again returned to the home. However, he left before police arrived.

Around 1 pm, officers were once again called to the home because the man had returned. Again, he left before police arrived.
