Explosive Videos In Pike Co. Shooting

Two explosive videos show a volatile relationship between a Pike County man and the stepfather that law enforcement say shot him in the head on Good Friday.

“Oh, I’m gonna die, am I?” Twenty-year-old Ryan Adam Webb says those words to the man accused of killing him in a live video that was posted to his Facebook page.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home on St. Rt. 220 for a shooting last Friday. They found Roy W. Jenkins, 52, armed with a .22 caliber rifle. Ryan Webb was found inside the home with a gunshot wound to his head. Jenkins is Webb’s stepfather.

Webb was rushed to Adena Pike Hospital and then transported to St. Mary’s Hospital by air ambulance. He later died.

Jenkins was taken to the Butler County Jail and charged with felonious assault and using a weapon while intoxicated. The charges were later upgraded to murder.

Two videos, posted live to Webb’s Facebook account, show that the two men were clearly at odds using profanity and threats. A woman is also heard on the videos. It is believed to be Webb’s mother.

In the first video, Jenkins can be heard ordering Webb out of the house. The camera is pointed towards Webb’s face, so it’s impossible to see what else is happening. We’ll warn you, there’s a lot of strong language.

Jenkins: “Get the f**k out.”
Webb: “Why don’t you make me get out with your f***ing so-called gun!”
Jenkins: “Come back here and talk to me boy. I’ll put you out.”
Webb: “I’m smarter than that, you dumb F**k. I didn’t hear you because you got so much F***ing d**k in your mouth.”
Jenkins: “Come here motherf***er. You little p***y.
Jenkins: “Don’t talk to me.”
Webb: “And you call yourself a man?”
Jenkins, “You’re gonna die, b***h!”
Webb, “Oh, I’ll die, will I? Why don’t you come say that to the camera?”
Woman: “He’ll come tear your phone up.”
Webb: “I got another one.”
Woman: “Like your old one?”
Webb: “Yeah.”
Woman: “He shut the door on you.”
Jenkins: “Stay the f**k out of this room, boy.”

Woman: “Are you taping?”
Webb: “Yeah I am taping. I am taping. He’s scared now!”

The second video features what appears to be a scuffle between the two men and Webb falling to the ground. Again, the camera is pointed at Webb’s face, so you can’t see what’s happening around him.

Webb: “Really?”
Jenkins: “Well, what did you do this week? Didn’t work or do anything? Get the f**k out of my way!”
Webb: “I wasn’t in your way, f**king dumbass!”
Jenkins: “Who bought your Dr. Pepper for you, bi***?”
Webb: “You know you call yourself a man… But then you go and act like this. Real men don’t act like this. What?” It appears at this point that someone is trying to take the camera away from Webb. “What are you gonna do? Don’t f***ing touch me. Don’t f***ing touch me. Get the f**k off of me. Get the f**k off of me, Roy.”
Jenkins: “You don’t f***ing video tape me, motherf***er.
Webb appears to fall to the ground.
Jenkins, “Stay down there.”
Woman: I’m calling the law, Roy.”

There are rumors circulating that the actual shooting may have been recorded. Reportedly, the mother’s phone and has been taken into evidence by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office.  The investigation is still ongoing and that report cannot be confirmed by the department.
