Fake OSP Trooper Targets Area
The Ohio State Patrol has issued a warning about a fake trooper targeting area citizens.
The Jackson Post of the Ohio State Patrol says the scammer has made multiple attempts to make traffic stops with the last one being near Mulga Road and SR 32.
They say he’s a white guy in his fifties. He’s not very tall, just about 5’ 5” but he’s a big guy weighing about 250 lbs.
He’s wearing a blue uniform with a stripe down the leg and is using a vehicle with a flashing red light on the top to make stops. Real troopers wear grey shirts or black jackets and actual police lights are blue or white.
