High Speed Chase Ends In Crash
A high-speed chase involving PPD and the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office ended with a crash just after 11 am.
PPD was notified the county was pursuing a vehicle just before 11 am. The chase continued through town and involved multiple accidents and dozens of near misses of innocent motorists.
The suspects hit a car on Grandview during the chase. Items were also thrown out of the suspect’s car, which officers later retrieved.

The driver hit speeds of over 100 miles an hour as they approached the Ironton Bridge and continued into Greenup, Kentucky. They eventually crashed at Route 23 and Caroline Road.
Police took two suspects into custody and found a weapon in the car.
