Man Makes Threats After Being Ejected From Football Game
Officers were called out just before 10 pm to investigate reports of threats stemming from an incident at a football game.
A caller said a man who had been ejected from a game after making threats had followed them home and was now circling the block.
Deputies stopped the vehicle in a parking lot and requested a Portsmouth Police Officer take over.
Dad Goes After Daughter’s Boyfriend With Brass Knuckles
Just after 1 am on Saturday morning, a woman contacted deputies to report an attempted assault. She said her father had attempted to fight her boyfriend with brass knuckles and had assaulted her earlier in the evening.
Officers discovered there was already an open warrant for the father from Medina County and that the county wanted to extradite him.
Man Flees After Assaulting Family Members on French Grant Road
Officers responded to French Grant Road on Saturday evening after a report that a man assaulted multiple family members and fled the scene.
Officers headed to the scene to check on two juvenile assault victims. Police learned that a parent had already taken one of the child victims to the emergency room.
Police checked local ERs to see if the suspect had sought treatment. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
Woman Assaulted on Gallia Pike
A woman came into the First Stop in Franklin Furnace to report she’d been assaulted by her boyfriend and that he was now tearing up their vehicle.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they took a man into custody. Medics checked the woman out for head and neck injuries.
Deputies booked the man on charges of domestic violence and obstructing official business. Per the court, he was released on his own recognizance.
