A Portsmouth parolee who just can’t seem to stay out of trouble ended up back behind bars after a domestic incident.
Just before 2 pm, a report came in that Charles Hinson III had left a drug treatment center, was high on ice and was threatening his family. Officer also found out that ODRC had an open warrant for the man for parole violation.
When they arrived at the scene, they found the door open and the man inside. Officers took him into custody without incident.
They booked him into the Scioto County Jail for parole violation. It was his 6th arrest in just over a year.
Police arrested him for parole violation, probation violation, and theft back in July. In March, they picked him up for parole violation. Last year, officers arrested him twice for a parole violation, and on charges of failure to appear and driving under suspension.
Hinson was released on parole at the end of 2020.
