The Scioto County Daily News hosted a town hall meeting on Friday to answer questions about the Coronavirus. County officials in charge of combating the virus took questions from local journalists and members of the public.

The town hall was the brainchild of Scioto County EMA Director Larry Mullins. Mullins participated along with Scioto County Health Commissioner, Dr. Michael Martin, and Portsmouth City Health Department Medical Director, Dr. David Byers.  Dr. Byers is an infectious disease specialist.

Cyn Mackley, from the Scioto County Daily News, moderated the event. Journalists from both radio and print also took part.
