Sharon Ann Malcom-Smith, 51 of Portsmouth, died January 3, 2022, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1970, in East Cleveland to Elaine Miree.
She was a homemaker and an advocate for children. She ran for the board of education in Cleveland to fight for students’ rights.
Along with her mother, Sharon is survived by; a son, Davidtin Smith; 3 daughters, Fantasia Craft, Isasia Craft, and Melinda Carter-Reitz; 2 brothers, Matthew Miree and Jason Miree; grandchildren, Letrell Craft, Janaya Cooper, Deavun Craft, Maliya Goodwin, Nicco Craft, Alyciah Goodwin, Ry’Lei Goodwin, and Gabriel Hudson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
